In the mid 1860’s, William Henry Kaye chose a parcel of land cradled by rolling green hills at the edge of the Nowhere Creek that came to be known as Ballakaye; indigenous for “home of the Kaye’s”.

Over 150 years later, together with their children, Jack and Kirby Kaye live in the original home built by William and are the sixth generation to operate a mixed farming enterprise on the property.

Settler and Sons is driven by a fondness to share our love of country life at Ballakaye through our open air, classic long table gatherings, private events and bespoke workshops.
